Under the direction of Dr. Sona Dimidjian, the Clinical Research for Evidence-based Services and Training Lab at the University of Colorado, Boulder, in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience (CU CREST) works to engage the principles and methods of clinical psychological science to build knowledge that will reduce suffering and enhance well-being in the lives of individuals and communities.

CU CREST houses an interconnected cutting edge clinical research program and a range of academic and community training efforts.  Supported by grants from the National Institute of Mental Health, the University of Colorado Boulder, including the Division of Outreach and Engagement, private foundations, and individual donors, CU CREST focuses on the scientific innovation and investigation of clinical practices and professional training designed to accomplish its central mission. In addition, CU CREST places a special emphasis on the problem of depression and the mental health needs of women across important transitions throughout the life cycle, including pregnancy and the postpartum.

CU CREST is home also to graduate students and undergraduate research assistants mentored by Dr. Dimidjian.
