Christina received her BA in Psychology from Williams College, and afterwards worked for two years in Massachusetts General Hospital's Psychiatry Department as a research coordinator. She joined the CREST lab in 2012 and started as a graduate student in 2013. Christina's research interests include increasing our understanding of the interpersonal contexts and attributes that relate to wellness and depression, particularly during the perinatal period. Additional areas of Christina's research interests include studying the mechanisms and dissemination of efficacious mindfulness-based interventions. Both in research and clinical work, Christina is passionate about increasing skill and resilience using evidence-based methods for individuals during periods of life transition--including pregnancy, postpartum, and young adulthood.
